Description:
HOT focuses on the 'hard to reach/engage and the hidden homeless drug-using population' and on accessing disenfranchised users into service. HOT provides these services: Needle Exchange, Advice and Advocacy, housing and criminal justice support, laundry & shower facilities. An on-site nurse serviceprovides a wide range of services including Hepatitis B and C testing, Hepatitis Vaccinations and HIV testing as well as wound care, Primary Healthcare and other treatments. HOT hosts a Low Threshold Prescribing service. HOT also manages the Pharmacy Neddle Exchange Scheme in Newham.
