Occupational therapy for people with learning disabilities
This is an expert service for people over the age of 16 with learning disabilities. Occupational therapists provide an element of the multidisciplinary services for people with learning disabilities.
A full range of occupational therapy services are delivered in people’s homes and a variety of community settings – this may include assessment and treatment of sensory issues and manual handling.
We use activities to help people to lead as meaningful a life as possible:
- by working with them to reach their goals
- so that they can live the lives that they want
We see people individually or in groups, we offer training and advice to clients and to those that support them.
