The Foot Health Service, part of Community Health Newham, offers a wide range of treatments to anyone living in Newham with a foot problem. We treat a variety of conditions including ingrown toenails, painful corns, callus, heel and arch pain, and any diabetes related foot problems.
The service is currently made up of eight podiatrists, two foot care assistants and an administrative team who aim to provide high quality services to the residents of Newham.
Based at the University of East London building in Stratford, the team works closely with the podiatry students and supervisors and often accommodates students on placement. We have seven other clinics located around the borough which are easily accessible by bus or tube, so our patients can choose a location convenient to them.
The foot health service accepts referrals from all sources. This means that patients can refer themselves. We currently maintain a less than six weeks waiting list for new patient appointments and all referrals are prioritised so those at most risk are seen as quickly as reasonably possible.
Our easy to use referral form is accessible from our clinics, local libraries and community centres, various GP practices and by contacting our office. So having your foot problem assessed by a trained specialist is as easy as filling in a form.
